I managed a little 'me' time today - here's what I made.
I thought it was about time I inked up this lovely stamp again from Funky Kits, coloured with copics as per Copic Colour Challenge this week, yes, there is a bit of E33 Sand, a tiny little bit used in shading the hair, the layout is from Sketch Saturday. I am also entering this for the Simon Says Stamp challenge which is to make a card for a new baby and the Crafty Creations challenge of celebration - what better celebration is there?
Papers are DCWV, hearts from stash, Martha Stewart punch, pearlescent card from Range, paper edges tinted with Tattered Rose distress inks.

Early start brings on a card.....
I had an early morning phone call today so rather than go back to bed and oversleep I thought I would colour up an image. You may have noticed I've not been blogging much lately, don't know where the time is going, we are having the bathroom refitted so things are a bit upside down and I've been watching 'Wanted Down Under' on iPlayer in the evenings, seeing whats on offer in warmer climes and once I get settled on the sofa its really difficult to make myself get out to my craft room...anyhow back to my card
I picked out some papers from DCWV glitter stack and coloured the lil' pixie image with copics to match the papers. I used my new Martha Stewart border punch added a layer of ribbon and 3 flowers from my stash, forgotten I had those, they were tucked away somewhere safe!
Challenges :-
Cute Card Thursday - Fairy Fantastic
Charisma Cards - Use 3 fruity colours
Sketch & Stamp - sketch.

Shades of brown.....
Here's a card I made for a friend of mine who celebrates her birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANE :-)
Thought I would follow the challenge at Totally Gorjuss which is to make you card 'monotone' and used the sketch at Just Christmas and Birthday cards.
I haven't inked up my gorjuss girl stamps in a while, although you don't have to use them to enter the Totally Gorjuss challenge, coloured the image with copics and edges with distress inks. I used some K & Co papers and pearlescent card from The Range - keeping up one resolution to use up some of my stash but have to confess I've given in and bought some new stash.... they have a fab sale on at Dies to Die for and before I knew it a Martha Stewart punch, 2 Mo Manning clear stamps and some Prima flowers had jumped into my shopping basket !!!
Am looking forward to my day off tomorrow so I can play with my new stash and catch up with some challenges.
Am off to play now, have a lovely evening.

Punch it - Creative Card Crew
Morning bloggy friends, hope you are all well.
The challenge this week at Creative Card Crew is 'Punch It' and is sponsored by Sunshine Stamps and the prize is 3 digi images, so come on ladies lets see your punched cards....
In a bid to be organised for next Christmas I decided to use this challenge to help me get ahead ROFL, I seem to say that every year...
I am so pleased I bought this set of Miss Anya stamps, the snow one has been used a great deal this Xmas. Image was coloured with copics, papers are from DCWV and a paperstack I bought years ago from Craftwork Cards, yep, I'm trying to use up some old stash, another target for this year :-)
I am entering this card for the Anyone for Anya challenge this week which is to use Black, White and one other colour. Love the black and white combo, thought just for a change I would use lilac.
Looking forward to seeing your punched cards for this challenge....

Where did the week go???
I've not managed much blogging this week but have been busy crafting and clearing snow!!
Here's a card I made last week for Joe, one of my friend's son, who was 18. Where does the time go to? I just love this image of Charlie, from Whiff of Joy, I have always liked this image but after receiving one from a blogging buddy just had to buy the stamp so I could colour some more.
I have been busy making a star card for a 50th birthday, a commission from a friend. There were quite a few photos, so I guess I have dipped my toe into the world of scrapbooking albeit in a small way. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos so can't show you the end result.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, I'm planning a quiet one, hopefully catch up on some blogging, make a few cards and some patchwork and quilting.

Hearty Hot Chocolate
Still not much crafting but tidy my craft room up (a bit), all ready to make some more cards when the mood takes me and mess it up again!!
Here's a card I made recently for a friend's daughter whose birthday it was this week. This is another of the images I received from Susie recently, these images are so great to work with, more stamps for my wish list.... so much for the stash diet!
I have coloured the image with copics and used distress inks around the edges. The papers are DCWV, all other items from stash.
I am entering this card for 4 challenges
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Use hearts on your card
Truly Scrumptious - sketch
Quixotic Challenges & Simon Says Stamp - Hot chocolate
Am off to do some more quilting, enjoy the rest of the evening.

Miss Anya blooms and grows
I've been fortunate enough to have the last 3 days off work due to the bad weather, the only one at home who hasn't had to go to work, how lucky am I? The boys have still had to do their paper round which surprises me. I had hoped to make a lot more cards but seemed to have spent the time doing jobs which I didn't get done over the holidays like clearing cupboards and the kids rooms :-s I have also done a bit of quilting, watch this space for the finished article.
I made this card a couple of days ago but didn't want to post it before as its for a friend who looks at my blog.
The papers were still on my desk from the previous card and the image is from a RAK from my lovely bloggy friend Susie, thank you so much those images which are gorgeous and the prize which I won from the 'Touch of Gold' challenge at Susie's challenge blog. Just look at these lovely goodies.
I am entering this card for 2 challenges, Just Christmas and Birthday cards which is a sketch challenge and Roses on Paper which is to use your favourite colouring medium - I used copics and distress ink.
Hope you are all keeping safe and warm in this chilly weather. We have just slipped down to the local Waitrose to top up on essential supplies, I've never seen it so busy...
Just wondering if the snow forecast for this weekend will happen or not, got mixed feelings about it, would like life to return to normal but am also enjoying the unexpected time off work :-)

Creative Card Crew - Distressing
The challenge this week at Creative Card Crew is 'distressing'
I saw a card in blogland this week which was using the MME Bloom & Grow papers, so I dug mine out as I haven't used them in ages.
The image is one I got before Christmas which hasn't seen ink yet, I think she is just so cute. Coloured with copics and distress inks, I distressed the edges of the textured card, although its not too clear in the picture unless you get a close up!
Love the colours on this card, one of my fav combos and it was great to make a card that's not Christmas!
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week.....

Anyone for Anya
It my second and last week as a guest designer for Anyone for Anya boo hoo.....
Mmm what could I make - the challenge is 'Anything Goes' I wanted to use one of my new stamps that I bought before Christmas but haven't had time to ink up yet, My Guy Ian. After checking that I could use an Ian rather than an Anya stamp I settled down to make a card for a boy, love this image, it reminds me of a lot of my sons' friends, that pose is often seen around here ;) Its ages since I've made a card, I really enjoyed making this one and the peace and tranquility of my craft room (if you block out the sound of the washing machine and tumble dryer - which was working overtime today!!)
I have decided that I am going to try a stash diet for a couple of months .... ha ha, hope it lasts longer than my food diets ;0 I've got so much stash and I really need to clear some space to make way for some more or for my sewing machine as hubby is not too keen on it taking up the spare seat at the dining room table!
In a bid to use up some of my stash I am going to continue to decorate the inside of my cards, so thought I would show you what I did with the offcuts of paper today.
It seems I've got a lot of catching up to do with challenges and blogging as I've not done that much crafting at all over the last 2 weeks. I've got 3 birthday cards to make for me to send this week, and 3 star cards, one of which is needed on Tuesday, better get me skates on....
Papers - Papermania
Colouring - Copics & distress inks
Stars made with 5 petal flower punch from Stampin' Up!, with the curved edges cut off, embossed with Swiss Dots CB folder and tinted with metallic cream.
Stamps - The Greeting Farm, My Guy Ian

HAPPY NEW YEAR & Anyone for Anya GDT
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY BLOGGING BUDDIES - may 2010 bring you everything you wish for.
A couple of days before Christmas I was chuffed to be asked if I would like to do 2 weeks as a guest designer on Anyone for Anya. Any excuse to get shut away in my craft room and escape the madness of Christmas. I made my card, emailed the picture to Dawny but forgot to schedule a post on my blog :( Better late than never I suppose, here it is, I know it looks very like the previous card but those gorgeous papers were still on my desk crying out to be used!
I love working with the grey shades of copic markers, and think they go well with these DCWV papers. Sorry about the glare from the mirri card which I embossed with the CB snowflake folder. Not got the hang of photographing this card without the glare - one day maybe....
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year, we have a wonderful time with family and friends, Santa left lots of lovely presents here (although no craft stash - suppose I'll have to treat myself ;-) ....) so I guess we must have been good.
It's a beautiful day here in Gosport, just been out in the garden and am now torn between doing a bit of gardening or making my card for the next AFA challenge which launches tomorrow....
