Anya in the Pink (and Lilac)
I just love this cute Miss Anya image, which my lovely friend Susie sent to me recently, thank you so much, you know I'm going to have to buy these now!! I coloured with some girlie pinks and lilacs today, which is not my usual colour selection but I enjoyed working with them. I raided my paper cupboard and found this lovely lilac pearlescent paper from Craftwork Cards, the flowers paper is DCWV and the pink cardstock from the Paper Mill cut with my lovely Martha Stewart double loop punch set. I added a couple of prima flowers, I really wish I had bought a couple of packs of these in other colours - more for my shopping list ;-), a pearl brad from Papermania and finally a sentiment banner from Lakeland and I was done....
If only it was that quick, I had different pads of pack and cardstock all over the place while I was making this card!
I am also going to enter this card into the Cupcake challenge which this week is
Flower Power.
Am off to make my DT card for Creative Card Crew now and fit in a spot of sewing, mmmm or shall I bead?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

What a busy week....
This card is for my friend's son Ian, who is 19 today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN.
I used Ian, from TGF, coloured with copics, as per the challenge this week over at Copics Colour Challenge. I am also entering this into the Roses on Paper challenge which is to make a card for a male and as I'ved used the layout from Sketch & Stash, the newest craft stash is the MS punch, brads are old stash I discovered recently during a sort out.
The papers are from K & Co, Hopscotch pad, and blue cardstock from DCWV card stack, SU and MS punches as usual, don't know what I would do without these!!
I'm off to do some sewing now, just bought some lovely black and white material to make a quilt for my daughter but need to finish off the cushion to go with the quilt I recently made - gotta use up the material otherwise I will end up with more craft stash to store!
Be back tomorrow with another card, have a lovely evening.

just to celebrate with the Crew.
Another new stamp, from the City Girls collection from Whiff of Joy. I made the flower kind of along the lines from Bev's tutorial, using 3 flower shapes cut with my cricut, scrunched them up and sanded them to give the distressed look. Used my newish Martha Stewart punches and some SU! punches.
There are lots of pictures already on this post, so I am going to make mine a surprise candy! All you need to do is participate in the challenge this fortnight, don't forget, no linking back to old creations, and leave a comment on this post.
Looking forward to seeing your take on the challenge, come on and join the party.....
Don't forget you need to have submitted a new creation to the Creative Card Crew challenge of celebrate to take part in my blog candy.

Black and White
Love this Miss Anya, which I received as part of a RAK from my bloggy buddy Susie, yes, I'm still working my way through them thank you. I was drawn to my black and white papers and used the sketch from Papertake Weekly.
Papers - black & white -Imaginisce, have a feeling I am going to have to stock up on more of these or similar ones. Black shiny paper - Paper Mill shop.
Blooms & brads from stash.
Punched shapes and sentiment - SU!
Cosy and warm...
This has taken me some time to complete, several sewing machines and lots of unpicking... until I was lucky enough to get a fantastic, all singing, all dancing, super dooper patchwork sewing machine which made quilting a dream rather than the nightmare it had been before.
I have a stash of material building already and have been perusing a pile of patchwork books trying to decide which one to make next!
